Model 1873 Trowel Bayonet
Developed to serve double-duty as a combat bayonet and entrenching tool. 10" long and 3 3/8 inches wide blade, with a reinforced spine. Knurled grip section, with a patent marking (traces remain) on the right side. Comes with a leather scabbard with a brass tip and and "US" badge on the belt hanger.
