Standard issue for the Danish armed forces, 1856 to about 1930.
Round flat water bottle in leather sewn in two pieces of brown leather. Solid strap sewn to the back. The bottle was carried in waist belt, preferably of the infantry. Introduced to replace M. 1852, however, was in use in this century.
