Feredays 4-Cell Chest Webbing (AK-Galil-R4) - Rhodesian Style

Thanks to : Old Republic Enterprises

This is an authentic four-cell chest webbing by Feredays in Zimbabwe, formerly Feredays and Sons of Rhodesia. It is uniquely marked with a sewn on Feredays label the reads “EST. 1910. FEREDAYS hunting, camping, and fishing outfitters. Harare-Zimbabwe.” The original Fereday and Sons labels are banned in Zimbabwe.

This version will hold four (4) AK style 30rd or Galil/ R4 style 35rd magazines. The size range is approx. US 38-48 chest. These rigs are often used by Park Rangers and Anti-Pouching units on African wildlife preserves.

This chest webbing is based on the earlier Rhodesian era chest webbing for the FN FAL but are made with some modern materials such as Velcro and nylon webbing. This chest webbing is made of a heavy jungle green cotton canvas and has four (4) large magazine pockets. Each is fastened with Velcro. The shoulder straps are nylon and a similar in all other respects to the original Rhodesian style chest webbing strap configuration.
